It all started with…

An unexpected question from a client. One day he surprised me by asking me to coach him on interpersonal communication - not for work, but for dating.

My story

One day, a client surprised me by asking for coaching on interpersonal communication – not for work, but for dating. I had never considered this before, but it made perfect sense. If people need communication training for their careers, why not for their social lives too?

If you’re anything like me, a happy and fulfilling social life (including dating!) is just as important as a fulfilling career. From body language and personal space, to the subtleties of flirting and communication styles, these insights are crucial for building connections.

In addition, I guide clients on how to interpret and adapt to cultural nuances, ensuring they feel more comfortable and confident in their interactions. By blending language skills, cultural knowledge, and personal dating experience, I help clients navigate not just the language, but the complex social cues of dating in a new environment.

I grew up as a first-generation American in the Bay Area and am an ESL speaker myself. With my multicultural upbringing — my mom is from Germany and my dad is from Czechia — I’ve always been passionate about traveling.

My love for travel led me to teach English in Greece, South Korea, and Germany. During those years, I experienced firsthand how difficult and confusing it can be to date in another language and culture. At times, it felt downright maddening!

When I returned to the US, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology. This foundation prepared me for my next role as an executive coach, helping professionals improve their pronunciation, nonverbal skills, and interpersonal communication skills in the workplace.
